Last Wednesday we loaded up the car and drove 5 hours to get to Toronto for the 15th annual Professional Organizers in Canada Conference. It was held at the Chelsea Hotel in downtown Toronto and started Thursday morning and ended with a formal diner on Saturday.
We were very busy with the conference and didn’t get to explore Toronto all that much. However, we made the most of it and went to a few landmarks (Well, they’re landmarks according to us!): the CN tower, Holt Renfrew, J.Crew & Club Monaco. If you’ve ever been to the Club Monaco on Bloor than you know were not exaggerating when we say: Can we move in please? The store is absolutely beautiful. It even has a little market outside it where you can buy flowers or plants.
We learnt a lot from all the speakers and panelists and made new connections with organizers across North America. Our favorite part of any conference is always the networking. We met some great people and can’t wait to see them again next year in Vancouver for POC Conference 2016! If you’re looking for a professional organizer in your area make sure you check the POC website (Canada) or the NAPO website (USA).
